HR Coordinator position is available in Carson, CA
Company: Transportation/Logistics
Work hours: M-F 8-5 or 9-6 (Flexible)
Hybrid base: First 3 months training (requires full office work, but after that, Hybrid base is allowed)
Salary range: $30-31/hour (DOE) bonus
Benefit: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO and more
- Answering employee requests and questions
- Coordinate and delegate the task to the appropriate person of the team
- Update and keep employee records in check
- Assisting in the recruitment and interview processes
- Help supervisors in any HR matters
- Assist in analyzing training needs, developing training curriculum, and delivering training courses
- Administering various employee benefits programs, such as group insurance, long-term disability, pensions, and profit sharing
- Maintain the HR team's calendar (schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc.)
- Create and submit reports to senior management
- Formulating methods to improve employment policies, processes and practices as well as recommending changes to management.
- Maintain payroll processes as well as develop systems to process payroll account transactions
- Process payroll changes and updates including, but not limited to: hours works, additional earnings, tax deductions, holidays, employee benefits, new hire details, salary updates and termination data.
Requirements:
- AA degree or higher in HR, Business and/or related field
- Professional HR experience within corporate environment for 1-2 year(s)
- Excellent communication skills - Japanese bilingual skill is highly recommended, but not required.
- ADP Payroll experience, not required, but preferred
- Willing to pursue a career in HR
